No Cost Bootstrapping to Boost Your Bottom Line

Here’s a quick list of no cost and low cost ideas that can help you increase profits and boost your bottom line without breaking the bank. This is a brand new old fashioned way to look at your business in the new decade.

Read. Study. Enjoy.

  1. When you make your first sale, follow-up with the customer.

You could follow-up with a “thank you” email and include an advertisement for other products you sell.

You could follow-up every few months.

You can set up an automatic responder for free constant contact with your customers.

LITERARY GUILD has a great program in place that makes this happen.

They constantly send me electronic coupons that offer an additional discount when I purchase NOW.

Their cost is almost zero, and the potential roi from me, a valuable and constant customer is high.

2. You could up-sell to your customers.

When they’re at your order page, tell them about a few extra related products you have for sale.

They could just add it to their original order.

Dozens of businesses use this but one of the best examples is “Do you want fries with that?”

A simple question that adds fifty cents to each transaction. How can you add this to your “close?”
