1. The Creamery Arts Center — Springfield

If you’ve ever said, “I don’t know what art is, but I know what I like,” then a visit to the Creamery Arts Center is for you. Packed with paintings, sculptures and rotating exhibits even the harshest critic is sure to find something they like. Art is supposed to move you, so move to the Arts Center and check it out.

2. Springfield Conservation Nature Center — Springfield

The Conservation Nature Center has a simple goal in mind. Connect people to nature and the Center does just that. Wrapped on three edges by the city, this is an oasis in an urban setting. Three miles of hiking trails, plus exhibits give anyone a taste of what mother nature has to offer and inspires action to keep it preserved for our children’s grandchildren.

3. The Library Center — Springfield

Remember when the Library was a place to check out books or take your school work to use the encyclopedias? Now they are cultural centers, hosting speaking events, serving as impromptu offices for home workers, and meeting spaces for noted civic organizations. The Library Center hosts classes for kids, events and activities several times per week, so even if someone says they don’t like reading, there is still plenty to do.
