My parents went there and all I got was a lousy tee shirt.

Ever seen that?

On a Tee Shirt?

I think every tourist destination had it on a rack.

Hundreds of thousands of parents and grandparents and friends bought it for those who were left at home.

A cruel joke?

A funny joke?

But we love tee shirts!

I wear one every day. They’re sexy when my GF wears one to bed.

Do we really care what they say?

Maybe it’s what it says about us.

When I see someone in a tee shirt that says, “This Is The…

When was the last time you went down a rabbit hole?

You know what I mean.

Find something you like or are curious about.

Click a link on Facebook or an article.

Then keep diving, watching, reading.

Learning.

I wonder about that.

When something grabs my attention, I think there’s a reason for it.

I read once, that if you want to be an expert on something, read ten books about it.

Or listen to ten audio books.

The equivalent now might be forty hours of video.

Maybe less.

What if you do all three?

I was researching for a…

I think you hit the nail on the head and I’m not surprised by that person’s reaction.

Who’s going to pay?

The churches.

Who pays the churches?

“Um, uh, me??”

What’s funny to me is I know that person, and a hundred more just like her.

They will vote a certain way and give tax breaks and tax dollars to companies to bring jobs to the area, but wouldn’t give a dime to a needy child.

They like to say that the Company will create jobs.

It does. And lays people off. And leaves. …

How I add 1000 new subscribers to my email list each month

And turn those subs from warm to hot buyers.

The dream is simple, right.

Build up 10,000 buyers ready to plop down their credit cards every single time you sell something.

That’s why we click on titles that say “Turn Your Newsletter into an ATM,” or “Your Email List Cash Machine.”

It sounds so easy.

Give away a piece of your product or something in exchange for an email address.

Then send them your offer. Or offers.

But simple isn’t always easy.

Because the guru’s trying to sell…

Do you want your business to stand out?

First, I want to ask you a question. What sets you apart from any other business out there just like yours?

I know what your answer is going to be. “Customer service.”

But if every business is giving lip service to the customer service claim, then what exactly is going to make you stand apart?

The answer is community.

You need to build a sense of belonging with your clients and have you be first in mind to satisfy their needs when a problem arises.

Car dealerships are poised to do this…

Fifty two years ago today, we landed on the moon.

Today, we sent civilians into space.

What will tomorrow bring?

I’ve heard news of a recession. I see inflation. Groceries cost more, gas costs more, used cars are now worth more than when you bought them.

The world feels upside down sometimes.

Except we passed a milestone.

We sent civilians into space and two weeks ago, opened up the stratosphere to commercial space travel.

In those 52 years, we have experienced an assassination attempt against the President, wars in Vietnam, the Gulf, Serbia, Africa, Iraq and Afghanistan.

We have had…

CHAPTER ONE

Forest Fires had been destroying a lot of valuable timber and blackening the summer range on the Forest Reserve and ranchers had been forced to move their livestock’ out.

Old-timers claimed it was the driest summer they’d ever seen in Montana.

Prairie ranges were parched, the waterholes dried up and big creeks shrank to a trickle that crept laboriously along between boggy banks.

And over it all hung the smoke pall from the forest fires.

The night was breathless and sultry and the full moon was a blood-red ball in the star-hidden sky.

It was long past midnight…

For two days and nights now, Moose moaned and screamed and cursed and

He had made an attempt to kill himself.

Now he crouched in a comer, his blood

shot, maniacal eyes staring at the boy

Moose aimed to do something. Rip had

Chapter One

The Trip northward from his bailiwick in Ripas to the ranges of Montana had been a long one.

And Rip Campbell was in no particular hurry to get home.

It was summer down there in Ripas and that meant stifling heat.

Here in Arizona it was cool.

There was supposed to be a new silver boom mining camp up ahead, and Rip smiled at the thought of trying his hand in a good poker game with some of the tinhorns who always flocked to new boom camps to batten up miners whose work- hardened hands were clumsy with a deck…
