Go to you Amazon KDP page and log in.

Select PROMOTE AND ADVERTISE on the right hand side.

Select KDP FREE PROMO DAYS on the left.

If you’re a new author, pick all 5 days for each short story you’ve written. Don’t start them on the same day, but use a cascade approach.

You want your work in front of as many eyeballs as you can muster, but you don’t want to overwhelm people either.

A great plan is to set a promo for each week to run 5 days. This gives people the chance to download your short, and then grab your novel from a link you include inside the short story, if they like your work.

With 5 short stories, you’re doing one promo per week, for five weeks. Guess what that is?
