Battlefield Z — Shelter in Place
We should begin where most stories start and that is at the beginning.
It’s a natural place to start, even though this is now after what the media are referring to as “the Necrosis plague.”
So really we begin at the end and remember the beginning and hope our memories aren’t too tainted.
The Plague began on a Thursday in Miami, but it must have began sooner than that.
How it began in Miami is anyone’s guess, though the talking heads speculate it started with refugees from Cuba.
A soviet era experiment gone horribly awry.
There were rumors swirling that China was the cause or Africa, but those were the obvious places to blame.
It’s safe to assume it started in a third world country and came across our border somehow.
The national media picked it up in Miami.
They joked that “zombies” were attacking and no one took it seriously the first week or so.
But Necrosis spread like the flu, straight up the I-75 corridor to Atlanta and all points inland.
Think of it like a contact virus.
