Do You Like Simple Answers?
The answers are simple, even if bought and paid for politicians don’t want to use them.
Track and tax.
This country was founded by the unwashed masses who landed on the shores, built by wave after wave of immigrants, and once some far right wingers started using a stereotype to scare you, we stopped growing as a country.
Now everyone is reactionary, and the people trying to get into the US to make a better life for their children, the people looking for their shot at the “American Dream” have become the scapegoats for all that’s wrong with the country.
Except that’s wrong.
The ill of the country existed long before this decade and will persist for decades from now.
The major problem is we won’t have anyone in America who gives a damn, because our population will have declined to the point we are no longer relevant in the world.
But we can stop it.
Now. Today.
Set up stations at the border and let everyone in.
Tag them with a smartphone or some device, escort them into small and mid-sized cities that have lost population to larger urban areas, and build a micro-economy around them.
More people, means more houses, more teachers and police. More tax to pay for all of it.
Will it take work?
Yep.
Do we have the skills to make it happen?
Absolutely.
Will it be easy?
No.
Because we have to realize that politicians and the media are using us, and that we need to unite together for something bigger than ourselves, and our fears.
We need to save the American Dream and we need any and all people coming to our shores to help us do it.
