Have You Ever Tried Sideways Thinking in your Creative Marketing?
The best way to get a person’s attention is to offer to help them.
Write one blog post every single day about something you are interested in.
It can be one sentence or a small book, but get into the practice of writing and sharing your thoughts.
Example: I live five miles from my youngest daughter and there are fifteen traffic lights between my home and hers.
When I go to pick her up for our weekends together, I’m sometimes trapped at those lights.
Can you imagine how frustrating it is to get caught at 30 traffic lights with timers that run from 2 minutes — 3 minutes each?
A five mile drive can take up to 25 minutes for me.
That’s ridiculous.
Surely traffic planners and engineers can come up with a better solution to move traffic?
After all this is a major roadway.
The problem is, it crosses eight other major roadways, that run North/South.
So if I’m driving N/S, I want those lights to go my way too.
I supposes it’s pretty common for any driver to want to have the path of least resistance when they’re behind the wheel.
