How Do You Get Offended?

Love it or leave it.

That’s what he said when I asked what he thought.

He’s a Marine.

In for thirteen, our for twice that.

Brash. Bold. Outspoken.

One of three Marine’s I hang out with, along with a Navy Nuke, a couple of SFG’s and one guy who was in “logistics” in some really strange places.

They all have different opinions.

“It’s America,” is the consensus. “He has a right.”

It’s old news now.

Kneeling for the National Anthem.

Five out of seven veterans I know say it’s not a problem.

One says it’s a big problem.

And the logistics guy doesn’t say, but he’s always had a live and let die kind of attitude.

We were talking about the NFL guy who is no longer in the NFL because he would no longer stand for the National Anthem.

Which came about because of Elizabeth Holmes, the disgraced ex-CEO on trial in California for fraud.

The information that we got was Ruth Bader Ginsberg didn’t like the QB on his knees.

Which is at odds with her liberal image.
