How to Stop Listening to People Who Don’t Want You To Succeed
Did you know I talked about making my first cooking channel in 2004.
I was just laid off from a job and looking for something to do and my in law asked me, “What would you do if you could do anything?”
I said, “Make a cooking channel on Youtube.”
And they lost their shit.
“Nobody makes $$ that way. That’s stupid. You need to be realistic. You need to have a real plan and a real job.”
There was more.
And…
I listened to them.
I went into a corporate job and hated my life for years.
That hate cost me.
Because I believed the haters.
But now, I’m growing my own cooking channel on Youtube.
Still learning. Still practicing.
But smiling.
