HUNTED — a SHADOWBOXER FILE

Brill Wingfield, codename Shadowboxer, perched atop the crumbling remains of a once majestic bell tower in Prague. Through his high-powered binoculars, he tracked his target, Zhao Cheng, a Chinese diplomat with a taste for fine art and even finer espionage. Cheng had stolen advanced tech specs from DARPA, a heist that sent ripples of alarm through the intelligence community. The tech could shift the balance of power, and Wingfield’s mission was clear: retrieve or destroy the data, and eliminate Cheng.

The bell tolled midnight, its haunting chime blending with the rustle of leaves in the cold wind. Wingfield adjusted his earpiece, receiving a live feed from his handler, Kiera Thorn.

“Shadowboxer, target is moving,” Kiera’s voice crackled through. “He just left the museum. He’s heading to a secure location to meet his contact. Intercept and neutralize.”

“Roger that,” Wingfield replied, already descending the bell tower’s narrow stairs. His footsteps were silent, a ghost in the night. His black tactical gear blended seamlessly with the shadows, rendering him nearly invisible.
