I Think I Broke The News
The problem with the problem isn’t the problem.
Your attitude about the problem is the problem.
Jack Sparrow said that and it fits.
Pain is inevitable.
Suffering is optional.
I’ve been thinking about this in my job hunt.
How much I will suffer.
Sometimes, it’s a lot like woe is me.
Easy enough to fall into that trap.
After all, I’m with someone who tells me at least four times a week, “you’re smart. What’s wrong with you?”
And it’s true.
I am okay smart.
I also read about a ton more than the average person, which in Arkansas, puts me about ten steps above the average.
99% of adults in this state don’t read past high school.
Yet, Wal Mart won’t hire me. Amazon will.
To work in their warehouse.
From running a division of a Fortune 500 company to running packages on an overnight shift.
Woe.
Is.
Me.
I sat this weekend with people who said, “Nobody wants to work.”
