This comes up on my mind every so often.

The what if.

The cost of missed opportunity.

I blame it on wanting to learn.

I blame it on taking action steps but not necessarily in the direction I need to be going.

I blame it on chasing shiny objects.

And I blame it on what it all boils down to which is beer.

I have been told my voice is annoying I have been told that my thoughts are more annoying than my voice.

I’ve been called weird.

I’ve been called a loser.

I’ve been called the dumbest smart guy I’ve ever met.

And while it is tough to hear all of that I always try to temper what’s being said with who is saying it.

If a 5-year-old calls me a stupid nincompoop, well I just tell him his mother’s a whore and I know because I’ve got recordings.

I’m just kidding.

I don’t have recordings.

I really try to let compliments and complaints slide off my back.
