“You know they got a warrant out for you?”

He did, but Eldridge didn’t care much about warrants. Not out here anyway.

“They didn’t like one of the bad guys that got himself killed.”

“That you killed,” the Colonel corrected.

Eldridge shrugged.

“You think he deserved it?”

Again the shrug.
