Saturday Special 5 17
I made a few micro documentaries for a couple of reasons:
One, to practice.
I want each video to get a little better, dust off some skills, learn some new ones and apply them to what I hope are longer videos.
Each one should be fun to watch, catch interest and overall, be good.
That way, I’m ready when the tech catches up
Which it will in about six months to a year.
In the meantime, these still look pretty good:
Jessie James
Billy the Kid
Not too shabby.
Each are MICRO, so it will literally take a few seconds to learn a new fact or see something.
Second, I wanted to get more attention for the audiobooks:
Like TEN DOLLAR COWBOY — free, which came out yesterday
Or GUN SIGHT which was out on Monday
That’s just how Youtube is working at the moment
Shorts find a lot of people, who then check out the channel (as a percentage)
Except some shorts don’t do as well, which is part of the skill building
Trying to figure out the why
Part art, part science, and probably some luck
I know people click on faces a lot more than any other image…
Except is it the face or is it the story being told?!?
All fun stuff, which is why learning to love the journey to get to the goal is the real lesson
Love the ups
Love the downs
And just keep going
