Super Secret Space Mission — a sci fi audiobook
Remember the movie Rush Hour?
I saw it and wondered, what if something like that was set in outer space.
And that’s what started the screenplay that became Super Secret Space Mission.
Matthew McConahey and Chris Tucker accidentally mistaken for supersoldiers when they take a wrong turn down a Texas dirtroad.
They’re shot into space with one mission.
Find a lost ship and bring back the crew.
Oh yeah, and stop the alien invaders because that’s what they’ve been trained to do.
I always liked idea of a fast talking motormouth guy stuffed with unearned confidence learning how to save the day.
AND
A laid back guy getting more intense because of all the chaos around him.
I pitched it a couple of dozen times, and got some interest but nothing ever came of it.
When KDP came out, I decided to turn the script into a novel, with modest success and then audiobook.
