Articulate your Vision in a clear and compelling message.

Refine and gain support for your Vision.

Paint the future so that everyone can see it. If they can not see the future, or if they don’t want to build it with you, they are not your follower.

Ask questions to develop an articulated strategy. Leaders ask a lot of good questions.

Resist Perfectionism.

Leaders have to balance extreme optimism with an eye for realism.

Leaders look for the relationship between things.

Stand out. Don’t be like everyone or everything else. Leaders lead.

Take Time. Spend a few moments to reflect on what you’ve accomplished.

Focus on the success. Learn from the mistakes.

Dream. Don’t get so caught up in the day to day tasks that you forget to imagine what you’re working to accomplish.

Big goals require big dreams.

Set aside time to reflect on methods and objectives. Keep what’s working. Eliminate what is not working.

Leaders mentor. Find someone that wants to learn and teach them.

Leaders enjoy the journey. Be grateful. Have fun. If you are not having fun, it’s going to be tedious work.

Do something that makes you smile and ignites your passion. Lead from the heart.

Leaders live like winners. Winners have confidence that they can get the job done.

It’s not what you do it’s how you do it. How is the secret.

A positive outlook or attitude will always win. Always. The opposite is true. A negative attitude will always lose.

A key to success is to do what others will not. Do you want to be a world-class marathon runner? Then run, eat right, train smarter and harder than anyone and you will. If you do not do all of these things you may not succeed.

Success is progressive. We plant the seeds now. We reap when ready. Always be planting. Always be ready to harvest.
