Six Fast and Quick Ways to Make Money from your Book

Fast and quick are relative sometimes.

Your idea of fast may be an hour, or twenty four.

Mine sometimes is.

But when you write a book, the world won’t beat a path to your door begging for copies.

You have to market it.

Marketing takes money.

If only people would buy it, you could pay for more marketing so more people would buy it!

Is it a Catch-22? Yeah.

Can you bootstrap your way to more dollars?

Hell Yeah.

First, write the damn book.

Publish the damn thing.

Seriously, we’re all tired of you just talking about it. It was fun for awhile, but now it’s time to put ass in seat and fingers to keyboard.

Done?

Great. Get a good cover that looks a lot like the other covers in your genre.

Spend a day writing a kick ass blurb using copywriting techniques.

Don’t know how?

Read a bookbub blurb that makes you want to snatch the book right now, then modify it to your story.

Next, publish on KDP and put it in KINDLE UNLIMITED.

Those are 2 streams of revenue from your book.

One is Paperback.

One is readers on Kindle Unlimited.

Both will be small until you publish more books or find more readers.

Don’t worry, you can do both.

Next put it up on Audible.

If you’ve only got one book in you, then pay for it. Have a garage sale and get a job, just to hire a producer and narrartor to do it.

OR use royalty share to split the risk with someone to take a chance on a new author.

Then publish it to Audible and that’s revenue number three.

Go to Ingram Spark and create an account, then publish a paperback copy of your book to share with libraries and world wide territories.

That’s number four.

Make a hardcover copy of the book and share it as well.

Save everything to a file folder, and go set up a Barnes and Noble account.

Upload your book there in paperback and hardcover.

That’s another stream of income for you.

Now order a copy for yourself.

Read it on Youtube, and set ad controls so you earn from views.

Write a kick ass blurb that’s keyword rich so you can find viewers. Then record ten videos about that book.

Why you wrote it.

How you wrote it.

What’s next.

What’s your process.

Just turn on the camera and talk.

Link them all to your book page on Amazon, or better yet, create a free reader magnet and drive traffic to it.

Then get ad money AND people who like you on your mailing list, which is another great way to market and increase revenue.

That’s it. Six ways you can earn money from one book.

Have you written your book yet?
