What Are You Doing to Grow Your Business?
I’ve been hypersensitive to criticism this week.
Sometimes I have tough skin, and I do work on my mental fortitude all the time, but for some reason, stuff is just bothering me.
Maybe I’m not eating enough.
I’ve been practicing Adaptive Training, which includes intermittent fasting, and it makes me redline like a race car.
I go from zero to asshole in less than six seconds in traffic, and have to practice long deep breaths in other situations.
That’s why I like writing in quiet places because then it’s just me. I don’t feel like I’m bothering anyone, and no one is bothering me.
Some slobby guy left a bad review on a free book he downloaded and my first instinct was to argue with him. Hell, he’s probably not that bad of a fellow, he just didn’t like what I was doing.
Get over it. Nobody is going to like all of your stuff. Ever. And the more success you have, the more people who are going to hate you on sight. The internet gives them the opportunity to vent their hate, and in most cases they can do it anonymously. That means they would say things without fear of repercussion, which isn’t really how our society was built.
