What Can Amazon Teach You About Cryptocurrency Marketing?
KEYWORD: Price Elasticity and consumer mindset
How much would you pay for an ebook?
It’s me.
I’m the consumer.
I read a lot. I’m not quite a whale reader, a person who reads one or more book a day.
But I am a two book per week guy on average.
One fiction. One non-fiction.
And I’ve been doing that for twenty years.
Which puts me firmly in the consumer camp.
Ever see that guy or gal who went to B&N and bought a dozen hardcovers off the clearance stand?
That was me. Same when Books a Million sold books, or the guy who got a little tingle when it was time to fly, cause I’d stop at the airport kiosk just to grab a new title for the flight.
I’m a late adopter on Kindle though.
I’ve only gotten into reading on my phone in heavy rotation in the past eighteen months.
Still a book a week. But my consumer mindset was fixed on price at $2.99 or less.
Or in Kindle Unlimited, which I used a lot, especially for authors in this group.
