What Happens When Your Work Doesn’t Work?

The short answer is pivot.

Like the series above.

Seven books.

Good reviews.

Great potential.

But no traction.

It’s in a crowded market.

And I have ideas how to adjust it.

Make it more mainstream.

But a pivot could also mean taking each story and making it in a different genre.

Westerns did it all the time.

They turned into sci fi.

And then modern westerns.

Could an action thriller series turn into science fiction?

Or urban fantasy?

It’s going to take a think or two.

I’m leaning science fiction, but who knows.

In the meantime, here’s something I’m working on in the series.
