What The Heck Are Billionaires Worth?

I went for a walk this morning.

The weather was perfect, a day custom made for a stroll by the river.

But I couldn’t enjoy it.

Sure, the sun felt nice and the breeze on my skin was great.

I just had a problem.

My mind couldn’t keep still and I was pissed.

Because the riverfront walkway passed through a park on the North Little Rock side of the river.

ARDOT has cut it in half because they’ve shut down every major roadway into Little Rock for the next three years due to construction.

One of the projects is over one Billion dollars, billed the biggest project in AR history.

This large project is going to destroy parts of downtown, and limit access to other million dollar project developments.

But at least people driving from downtown to the suburbs will shave three minutes off their commute.

That’s not what made me mad though.

I mean sure, it’s frustrating to waste so much tax money on a dying technology, but gas cars and trucks aren’t going anywhere anytime soon.

What bothered me were the homeless in the park I had to walk through.
