What The Heck Happened to Patience?

Building systems.

Sometimes it’s easier to recognize what others need to do, rather than what we need to do ourselves.

Because building a system takes time.

Just like writing a novel.

Just like publishing a book.

Building a viewership on Youtube.

Finding listeners for audible or a podcast.

Everything takes time, and sometimes, it never feels like it’s fast enough.

I once preached patience.

It feels like I’ve been preaching it for years.

Yet the goal is always on the horizon.

I’ve hit orange best seller tags, but it’s feast or famine so far.

I’ve learned about new marketing and shared, but it’s not worth hiring to do.

I’ve trained on new technology, but the industry has zero credentials, and so selling it takes time.

Takes effort away from the writing, and explaining and everything else.

Not to mention the checklist of Honey Do’s that grows larger by the day, and eats away at the minutes.

Like building a Shopify store.
