What would you do with a billion dollars?

Elon Musk is building the future.

Let’s face it, it’s easy to build for tomorrow when you have a couple of billion in your bank account.

And access to billions more.

Think about it a moment. What would you do with a billion dollars?

Would you change the world?

Or would you build a new one?

I think about my hometown, Pine Bluff Arkansas, which has made the top ten list for years running.

Top ten in crime. Top ten in job loss. Top ten in population loss. Top ten in a lot of categories that aren’t such good ones.

Worse still, it’s in a state that is among the top ten too.

All the bad things.

If I had a billion dollars, I’d start with cleaning up.

Property. Blight.

I’d build a ton of businesses that pay good wages for people to participate in the 20th century.

I’d build places downtown where they could gather, and insert computer training programs in every middle school and high school.
