Youtube must have made some changes because I got more than a few emails talking about the ads IN the audiobooks.
I’m of two thoughts: look, I get it. But if you ain’t paying for books and you ain’t buying beans for me and hay for my horse, well, the rule is Ass, Gas or Grass baby. Ads give me a few shekels to pay the bills. (I don’t do grass, so there is that.)
The second thought is: I’ve got 6 books scheduled to be released over the next 6 weeks on Youtube. I’ve been putting them behind a member paywall (even though I don’t have any members at the moment) until they go public.
I could keep ads off those pre-scheduled westerns that are in the Members Only site, and turn on ads once they go public. I’ll do that later today.
That way you could get a zero ad experience AND participate in the American Way of Life by supporting a small business.
